What?

Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP)

TPP is a nationally accredited pre-university course equivalent to Year 12 a Foundation Program. It is designed to prepare you for studies in a range of Bachelor degrees offered by the University of Newcastle, including Medicine. Students may also use the TPP to gain access to an NIC Diploma in the areas of Business and Commerce; Engineering; IT; Media and Communication.

Why?

  • Smaller class sizes means more interaction and more learning support
  • 3 intakes per year (starting in March, June or October)
  • Extra contact time and additional language support
  • Fast-track and standard-track options available (2 or three trimesters’ enrolment)
  • Medicine students will only be able to commence in March and will enrol over 2 semesters
